I have been with Lotus Foster Care since the beginning, I’m responsible for evaluating the Quality Assurance aspects of the agency, ensuring we remain regulatory compliant and working within regulations to ensure children and young people make progress.

I’m a qualified Social Worker and have worked in the sector for nearly 48 years; spending 27 years working in Local Authority supporting Children and Families; Young Offenders; Mental Health; and Fostering. I also spent the last 21 years working with large independent fostering agencies, holding various roles from Registered Manager, Head of Operations and Director.

I have also had the rewarding role of being a foster carer for over 10 years. As an ex foster carer, I am aware of the support required and what we as an agency can do best support the needs and welfare of children and young people with our foster carers. I am very passionate and committed to making better lives for vulnerable children. I’m highly motivated in improving outcomes for children also.
