Support
We know that for you to be there for children and young people, we need to be there for you. Lotus Foster Care is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. During office hours, the staff, including the senior management team, will be available for any guidance or support.
After office hours, we operate an out-of-hours support line, which is managed by the social work team. This is available to all foster carers. The team can offer support, guidance and advise around matters relating to the child or young people in placement.

Our training is of high quality and led by experienced professionals in a number of fields. There’s always something you can get involved with, depending on your areas of interest or the needs of the children you are caring for, in addition to the statutory training.

Independent Support
As an approved foster carer, you’ll receive exclusive membership to Foster Talk, an independent, non-profit organisation providing professional support services to foster carers across the UK. As fostering experts, advice and support is specific to foster carers and membership includes:
