Our Support
Here at Lotus, we help our foster carers to grow and develop to become the best possible carer they can. We achieve this by offering a range of training and support. We put children at the heart of every decision, and we believe that all children deserve to live in a loving, safe and stable environment.
We work closely with local authorities to ensure children and young people receive the right level of care and can flourish. The team at Lotus consists of experienced social workers who have extensive safeguarding knowledge and can effectively ensure children and young people receive appropriate care. We focus on following regulatory guidelines and implementing robust practices across the service.
Lotus are very responsive and are available to attend pre-placement meetings at short notice with the foster carers to undertake matching and ask questions. We have found that this has assisted with the stability of placements.
Making a Referral
The team at Lotus has extensive experience in matching and placing children with foster carers. We believe that success in fostering and achieving the best outcomes for children and young people has a great deal to do with the matching process between child and foster family.
