I oversee the operational aspect of the agency, ensuring we are meeting Local Authorities needs, looking after our foster carers, and making a difference for the children and young people we care for. I work closely with the Senior Management Team, protecting our values, setting key objectives for the agency and to ensure we never lose sight of what is important and that children remain the heart of every decision.

I have a great passion for the care sector and have held various roles with a fostering agency to develop and manage their placement service. I have also worked with a local authority leading on a project which involved working with communities to raise awareness around the need for foster carers.

Fostering is very close to my heart, my parents were foster carers for over 20 years, therefore I bring a good perspective around the support that foster families require and what we as a service could do to ensure the whole family feel supported.
